* Technical, legal, economic, medical, literary, advertising, and other specialized texts — for these types of translations, the price increases by 10% to 30%, depending on the level of terminological complexity.
** For such languages, the final translation cost is calculated based on the number of characters in either the source text or the translated text in Bulgarian
Note: Prices are quoted in Bulgarian leva and euros, exclusive of VAT, and refer to one standard translation page containing 1,800 characters (including spaces), in accordance with BDS EN 15038:2006. The rates apply to translations from Bulgarian into a foreign language or from a foreign language into Bulgarian, for a minimum volume of three pages.
For translations of fewer than three pages, as well as in cases involving complex texts, non-standard file formats (the standard format being a text file without imported images, with each document—regardless of length—constituting a separate file), poor-quality scans, or handwritten texts, the quoted prices are 10% to 40% higher.
Translations performed outside regular business hours or on public holidays are subject to a surcharge of 50% to 100%.
If the text volume is less than one standard page, the translation is charged for a minimum of one page, rounded up to the nearest half page for each page started. A “translation page” refers to a page of the translated text; therefore, the translation fee is calculated based on the number of translated pages, not on the number of visible pages in the original document.
For payments received after 1:00 p.m., the following work day shall be considered the first working day of execution.
2. Prices for interpretations*

* Depending on the direction of the translation, the difficulty of the language and the type of interpretation, an increase of up to 50% is possible. In the case of accompaniment and consecutive translations, the actual hours of engagement of the translator are paid, not the hours in which he translates.
